Genoa: Genoa City Tour - 3.5hrs £38 Code: GOA-01
Depart from the pier with a local guide and drive along the famous Via Gramsci, passing the Aquarium of Genoa and the Palazzo San Giorgio, to the city centre. At Columbus’ House, you will leave the coach for a stroll in the historic city centre, visiting St Lawrence’s Cathedral, the Atrium of the Ducal Palace and St Jesus Church, with its paintings by Rubens. The coach will then take you to the hill of Carignano from where there are great views of the centre.

Departure by coach for the 40-minute drive to Rapallo, then via the ‘Golden Sun Road’ to Santa Margherita, where you board a boat for the 10-minute crossing to Portofino. Once a typical fishing village with its brightly-coloured houses, Portofino has become an exclusive destination. After visiting the Church of St George, where the saint’s relics are preserved, you will have free time to explore this delightful village at leisure. Completion subject to sea conditions.

Depart by coach for a drive through Naples before taking the panoramic coast road climbing the hill of Posillipo, with views of the city and the Bay of Naples with its three islands Ischia, Procida and Capri on the horizon. There will be an opportunity to take photographs of the wonderful view. The tour then drives along the seafront road, the Via Cracciolo, towards the historic heart of Naples. Here you will see the Castle dell’Ovo, the Royal Palace, the San Carlo Opera House and much more.

Depart by coach for the 45-minute drive to the remarkable ruins of the world’s most complete Roman Town. The eruption of Vesuvius in 79AD not only preserved the structures, but also evidence of the ancient way of life, including a fully-equipped tavern with the last customer’s money still on the bar. The walking tour of this fascinating site will take you past thousands of houses, ancient baths, paintings and inscriptions. Please note: This tour is not suitable for people with mobility problems.

We drive through breathtaking landscape to the famous wine producing area of Peza, south of Heraklion. We stop at a modern winery, where you will see the latest methods of wine making and sample some of the delicious Cretan wines. The drive continues, passing Vathypetro location of one of the oldest farmhouses in Crete, through olive groves dating back 4,000 years. We stop at the quaint market town of Archanes, where, you can sample an assortment of Cretan snacks and locally produced wine at a Taverna.

Heraklion: Knossos Palace & Heraklion City - 3.5hrs £46 Code: HER-02
Crete is the largest and the most rugged of the Greek islands; home of the great Minoan Civilization and the mythological home of Zeus. After a short drive through the town of Heraklion, the tour will arrive at the Knossos excavations which have revealed a civilization dating back to 4,000 BC. The Palace, decorated with frescoes and shields houses the Hall of the Royal Guard, the Hall of the Double Axes, the King’s Chamber, the Queen’s Apartment, beautiful courtyards and shrines. The coach will then take you to the heart of Heraklion where you will have some free time to explore at leisure. Note: Walking in the archaeological site of Knossos will be on uneven gravel surfaces. Passengers may not be allowed to enter the site with big bags/rucksacks.

Alexandria: Alexandrian Highlights - 4hrs £40 Code: ALX-06
Founded by Alexander the Great in 332 BC, Alexandria is the shining Pearl of the Mediterranean. Your first stop will be at superb modern Bibliotheca Alexandrina. Inaugurated in 2002, it is built on the same site where the famous Library of Alexandria was established by Ptolemy in 288 BC. An inside visit will be guided by the Library's own guides. Continue along the beachfront boulevard to Montaza Gardens with its beautiful palm trees and scenery. View the superb summer residence Palace of the late ex King Farouk of Egypt. We will make a photo-stop at Qait Bey Fort, built where the Pharos of Alexandria, one of the seven Wonders of the Ancient World, stood and the beautiful Abu El Abass Mosque.

Alexandria: Cairo Overnight - 2 days £210 Code: PALX-07
Day 1: The 3-hour journey to Africa’s largest city passes through reclaimed, cultivated desert and modern industrial towns. Arrive in Cairo and check into your 5* deluxe hotel. Depart to attend the scheduled Sound & Light Show under the star-studded sky at the Sphinx open air theatre. Continue to the banks of the River Nile downtown where a luxurious cruise boat awaits to sail you on the same timeless waterway traversed by Pharaohs, Queens and Nobles for thousands of years. Sit back, relax and enjoy a sumptuous dinner buffet in elaborate interiors as you glide past Cairo’s waterfront landmarks. For your entertainment, a folklore presentation and belly dance will be performed during dinner. Return to your hotel and overnight.
Day 2: Check out after breakfast and depart to visit the Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx. Continue to Memphis to visit the giant fallen statue of Ramses II and the alabaster sphinx of Amenhophis II. Continue to Sakkara to visit its museum, the Step Pyramid of King Zoser and one of the nearby Mastabas (funeral chambers). Enjoy a set-menu lunch at Sakkara café adjacent to Sakkara museum managed by a leading 5* deluxe hotel. Return to Cairo to visit the National Archaeological Museum housing the world's largest repository of Egyptian artifacts spanning 50 centuries, including the priceless collection of the boy king Tutankhamen. A final stop will be made at the legendary Khan El Khalili bazaar. Return to Port Said to reboard the ship.

The exotic and colorful Khan El Khalili Bazaar is a shopper’s paradise and a photographer’s dream. Bargaining is an art and expected when you are negotiating a purchase. Gold and silver, precious stones and gems abound. Bronze and copper, the smell of exotic spices, leather goods, the aroma of brewed coffee and captivating sound of music, together with a multitude of colourfully-dressed locals bring to life scenes from ‘A Thousand And One Arabian Nights’. Enjoy free time to purchase souvenirs before the return drive to Port Said.

Limassol: Limassol - 4.5hrs £38 Code: LIM-01
See Kolossi Castle, a fine example of military architecture, built by the Crusaders in the 13th century. Then it’s on to the ancient city-kingdom of Curium, one of the most important archeological sites on the island. The magnificent Greco-Roman Theatre with its breathtaking view, originally built in the 2nd century BC, is now fully restored and is used for musical and theatrical performances. You can also visit the House of Eustolios with its stunning 5th century mosaics as well as its unique complex of baths with mosaic floors. We will then stop at the Medieval Castle built in the 14th century where, according to tradition, Richard the Lionheart married Berengaria of Navarre and crowned her Queen of England in 1191. Inside the castle is the Cyprus Medieval Museum.

Limassol: Paphos - 5hrs £40 Code: LIM-02
We drive to the village of Omodos where you can visit the famous monastery, dedicated to the Holy Cross. The monastery was built to accommodate the pilgrims who sought cure from the Holy Cross. You will also visit the traditional Linos winery, where you will be able to sample some local wine. You will have some free time for shopping and strolling around the village, before returning to port.

Katakolon: Excursion to Olympia - 4hrs £46 Code: KAT-01
Departure by coach for the 40-minute drive to the ancient city of Olympia. Dedicated to the father of the gods - Zeus, Olympia is the birthplace of the Olympic Games. Here you will see the Temple of Hera, in front of which burns the Olympic flame during modern-day games, and the Ivory Statue of Zeus - one of the seven wonders of the ancient world. Your guide will take you to the world-famous archaeological Museum of Olympia and you will have free time to explore at your own pace.

Malta: Mosta, Mdina & Rabat - 4hrs £32 Code: MAL-03
You will travel to Mosta to visit the Rotunda church, reputably the third largest unsupported dome in the world. This richly-decorated and magnificent church still houses a massive German bomb, which fell on the dome during the 2nd World War. Your next stop will be the Silent city Mdina, where your guide will explain the history of the old capital, including the Cathedral, and introduce you to some of the curiosities of this Medieval city. Then Rabat where there still is evidence of the wealth enjoyed by Malta under Roman rule. It’s a short walk to St Paul's Catacombs, which houses a modern souvenir and crafts centre.

Malta: Valletta - 4hrs £38 Code: AL-02
This guided tour through the bustling streets of Valletta will take you to see the Barracca Gardens, from where you can admire a great panorama of the Grand Harbour. You will then visit St John's Co-Cathedral and the Grand Master's Palace, where you can see the staterooms (subject to Parliament not being in session at the time). Free time for shopping will be given in Valletta. Return to the port.
